The LS3 oil filter "adapter" is FITTING,OIL FLTR 12600225 (callout 438 of figure GM00-540, 2011 GM Professional Parts Catalog). It threads directly into the oil filter pad on the oil pan (the LS3 mounts the filter at the pan, not the block). The 12600225 fitting itself is what is torqued — there is no separate "adapter bolt"; the fitting *is* the bolt. Torque spec should reference oil filter adapter installation in GM SI document 2296270. GM SI "Oil Filter Fitting" 55 N·m (40 lb·ft) per fastener spec doc 2296270 (Engine Mechanical 6.2L LS3). The LS3 "oil filter adapter" is the threaded fitting 12600225 that screws into the oil pan and serves as the spin-on filter mount — there is no separate "adapter bolt", the fitting itself is the torqued part. Duplicate of entry oil_filter_fitting (same torque, same SKU).
