Notes
Automatic transmission only. The LS3 flexplate-to-torque-converter bolt is only applicable to the 6L80E automatic transmission build (RPO MYC). For the 2012 Corvette base trim which is 6-speed manual (MM6/MZ6), this fastener is not used — the flywheel 12571611 (callout 134 of figure 1Y00-083) bolts to the crank via the flywheel bolts (already covered by entry `flywheel_flexplate_bolt`) and the clutch attaches via `clutch_pressure_plate_bolt`. Torque spec for the M/T-equipped LS3 is therefore N/A. For the A/T variant, the 12602448 PLATE,A/TRNS FLEX (callout 150 of figure 1Y00-083) bolts to the converter via converter bolts (not listed in the LS3 engine figure — see automatic transmission torque converter section figures GM04-554). GM SI "Flexplate to Torque Converter Bolts" 63 N·m (47 lb·ft) per fastener spec doc 3240184 (6L80 Automatic Transmission, On-Vehicle). Applies only to A/T-equipped LS3 (6L80E, RPO MYC). The 2012 base LS3 is M/T (TR6060/MM6) and does not use this bolt — see notes for full applicability.
